The long beach of Famara is the ideal spot for kitesurfing. It's both a great spot for beginners who can learn in all safety, and also a great spot for experts who crave wave which are available throughout the whole year.
Lanzarote, with its numerous spots offers perfect conditions for surfing all year round, for all levels. This, together with the mild climate, the warm spanish hospitaltiy and its breathtaking landscapes and its proximity to Europe, make of Lanzarote a great destination for your surfing trips.
Stand Up Paddle is another way to enjoy the sea, without having the stress of always looking either for waves or perfect wind conditions. Its a sport that enables you with a very small amount of time to have fun, even when the weather conditions had decided to leave you standing on the beach.
The surf course complete a period of 5 days for five hours a day and takes place in small groups.
The surf lessons are held at Famara beach where there is always wave for beginners and ideal conditions for those approaching the sport. In any case, the instructor will assess every day the sea conditions, and may also decide to postpone the lesson if conditions are too demanding.
The full tuition fee of surfing (200 €) includes:
transfer from kitehouse Lanzarotekite the beach or school,
packed lunch,
rental equipment (we have many surfboards are suitable for beginners and in perfect condition)
... and of course the teaching of a qualified instructor!
If you wish, you can also take one day test (about 3 hours) at a price of 30 €.
